The Concept
The lyrebird, known for its ability to mimic the sounds it hears, is the perfect emblem for a brand that reimagines non-alcoholic spirits. Paired with a top hat, the bird becomes a symbol of charm, craft, and confidence.
This animal and object pairing creates a visual metaphor, the bird reflects imitation, while the top hat signals elegance, theatre, and classic sophistication.
Drawn in a custom engraved style, the illustration balances refinement with wit, standing out across packaging and brand materials.
The Project
Lyre’s is a premium range of impossibly crafted non-alcoholic spirits, inspired by the art of traditional cocktails and tailored for a modern, mindful audience.
I was commissioned to create the lyrebird logo, along with a series of character illustrations. Each flavour paired with its own charismatic animal and visual tone. These assets form the Lyre’s brand, combining storytelling with shelf impact.
