The Concept
An original illustration produced in a high-contrast, single-color woodcut style.
Using my engraved illustration technique, the scene captures the stillness and spectacle of the northern lights, giving the product an eye-catching identity that also speaks to quality and tradition.
The use of just one ink color allows for versatile reproduction across screen printing, apparel, and print.
The Project
The Boy & The Bear approached me to create a label illustration for their year-round Nordic Lights Cold Brew, a specialty Colombian and Brazilian coffee blend with tasting notes of peach, almond, and dark chocolate.
The artwork appears not only on product packaging but across apparel and retail environments, giving the blend a distinctive visual identity that connects with both loyal customers and new audiences.
